B: INSPECTION
1. CHECK FUSE.
1) Remove the fuse and check visually.

A: REMOVAL
1) Remove the front door trim. <Ref. to EI-60, FRONT DOOR, REMOVAL, Door
Trim.>
2) Remove the sealing cover.
CAUTION:
Carefully remove the butyl tape. Excessive force will easily

To arm the system using remote transmitter
1. Close all windows and the moonroof (if equipped).
2. Remove the key from the ignition switch.
3. Open the doors and get out of the vehicle.
4. Make sure that the engine hood (and the trunk lid (Legacy)) are locked.
5. Close all doors (and the rear gate (Outback)).
6. Briefly press the
Secondary Speed Sensor
A: REMOVAL
CAUTION:
Be sure to prevent water or oil from contacting the connector terminal of
secondary speed sensor. If
adhesion occurs, replace with a new part.
