WARNING
Do not adjust the steering wheel tilt/ telescopic position while driving. This may cause loss of vehicle control and result in personal injury.
1. Adjust the seat position. Refer to “Front seats” F1-2.
2. Pull the tilt/telescopic lock lever down.
3. Move the steering wheel to the desired level.
4. Pull the lever up to lock the steering wheel in place.
5. Make sure that the steering wheel is securely locked by moving it up and down, and forward and backward.

Differential Gear Oil replacement
A: INSPECTION
1) Remove the filler plug, and then check the gear oil. Replace the gear oil if it is contaminated, deteriorated or cloudy. <Ref. to DI-23, REPLACEMENT, Differential Gear Oil.>
2) Check that the gear oil level is within -5 mm (- 0.2 in) from the bottom of the filler plug hole.
Maximum allowable speeds
WARNING
When shifting down a gear, ensure that the vehicle is not travelling at a speed
exceeding the Maximum Allowable Speed for the gear which is about to be selected.
Failure to observe this precaution can lead to engine over-revving and this in turn
can result in engine damage.
