Tire chains cannot be used on any tires for your Legacy and Outback because of
lack of clearance between the tires and vehicle body.

A: REMOVAL
1) Lift up the vehicle, and then remove the front wheels.
2) Remove the front arm.
Remove the nut and disconnect the front stabilizer link.
Remove the bolt, and then remove the ball joint for the front arm.
Remove the bolts, then remove the front arm.
B: INSTALLATION

1. Apply a flat-head screwdriver to the light cover as shown in the illustration,
and pry the light cover off from the rear gate trim.

2. Turn the bulb socket counterclockwise and remove it.
3. Pull the bulb out of the bulb socket and replace it with a new
