1. CHECK FUSE.
1) Remove the fuse and check visually.

1) Remove the front door trim. <Ref. to EI-60, FRONT DOOR, REMOVAL, Door
Trim.>
2) Remove the sealing cover.

Carefully remove the butyl tape. Excessive force will easily

2) Remove the extension case. <Ref. to CVT-138, REMOVAL, Extension Case.>
3) Remove the transfer clutch assembly. <Ref. to CVT-146, REMOVAL, Transfer
Clutch.&
Fuel gauge
1) Low fuel warning light
The fuel gauge shows the approximate amount of fuel remaining in the tank. When
the ignition switch is in the “LOCK” or “Acc” position, the fuel gauge shows “E”
even if the fuel tank contains fuel.
The gauge may move slightly during braking, turning or a
