1) Remove the fuse and check visually.

1) Remove the front door trim. <Ref. to EI-60, FRONT DOOR, REMOVAL, Door
Trim.>
2) Remove the sealing cover.

Carefully remove the butyl tape. Excessive force will easily

WARNING
When shifting down a gear, ensure that the vehicle is not travelling at a speed
exceeding the Maximum Allowable Speed for the gear which is about to be selected.
Failure to observe this precaution can lead to engine over-revving and this in turn
can result in engine damage.

SRS airbag system warning light
When the ignition switch is turned to the “ON” position, the SRS airbag system
warning light will illuminate for approximately 6 seconds and turn off. This shows
the SRS frontal airbag and SRS side airbag and SRS curtain airbag and seatbelt pretensioners
are in normal operation.
