Subaru Outback (BR): Glove box
1) Lock
2) Unlock
To open the glove box, pull the handle. To close it, push the lid firmly upward.
To lock the glove box, insert the key and turn it clockwise. To unlock the glove box, insert the key and turn it counterclockwise.

locking switches or the remote keyless entry system, you can unlock it from inside
the cargo area.
1. Remove the access cover at the bottom-center of the rear gate trim using flat-head
screwdriver.

A: REMOVAL
1) Disconnect the ground cable from battery.
2) Remove the front door trim. <Ref. to EI-60, FRONT DOOR, REMOVAL, Door Trim.>
3) Remove the outer mirror assembly. <Ref. to GW-28, REMOVAL, Outer Mirror
Assembly.>
4) Remove the front door speaker assembly.
Remove the screws
